In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, these are the best skills for the Berserker build.
Assassin’s Creed games have always had a lot of fun ways to fight, but Assassin’s Creed Valhalla makes fighting completely customizable. Players who like to stay hidden will find a lot of fun things to do, and it’s a lot of fun to get all the skills you can. But the best thing about Valhalla is how easy it is to make your own builds. The Berserker Assassin build is the most brutal and rewarding of these.
The Berserker build is not for the faint of heart; it’s made to make you feel pumped up in every way. If you use this build, you should go into every type of fight with reckless abandon. Going berserk depends on Eivor getting power from low health and adrenaline, and hits that land will heal both of them. With dual-wielding and fire-related skills and weapons, Eivor will destroy all of the Saxons in a Viking-like rage, making them tremble with fear.
Berserker’s Mettle (Bear Tree)
The Berserker’s Mettle skill isn’t just a good choice for this build in name only. If a player wants to get more adrenaline for Eivor’s active skills early, first strikes won’t use up a slot that is only partly full.
It shouldn’t be hard to get more energy with this build, as long as the player is quick in battle. Berserker’s Mettle only makes sure that players can start battles with Eivor’s best moves; it doesn’t cost them any more adrenaline than those moves usually do.
Thrill Of War (Raven Tree)
Thrill Of War is the best way for the Berserker Assassin to get pumped up so Eivor can use her special skills to their full potential. With this skill, being in a fight slowly fills up your adrenaline spaces.
This skill doesn’t move quickly, but it’s very useful for players who’d rather focus on their rampage than their fighting skills. For a Berserker build, it’s better to let some hits hit Eivor, so Thrill Of War is a good way to get adrenaline back instead of stopping all the time.
Heavy Dual-Wield (Bear Tree)
It only makes sense that Eivor becomes a berserker with two huge weapons that he can use both hands to do a lot of damage. Because blocks can be turned into sweeping moves with a heavy weapon in the other hand, like a Dane axe, a great sword, or a scythe, Eivor can double her reach and damage.
Moves for defense and attacks are different based on the type of weapon and hand that holds it. It’s best to have a heavy off-hand weapon and a smaller, faster main-hand weapon because getting berserk needs both speed and brute force.
Fearless Leaper (Bear Tree)
When Berserker Assassin players show up on the battlefield with Fearless Leaper, they are both powerful against enemies and excited. Eivor doesn’t have to sneakily Eagle Dive into a haystack; she can land among enemies from any height, dealing a lot of damage when this skill is used.
There aren’t many bad things about it. For this skill to work, you have to jump off of something high, but you can get the same result by jumping off of a cart. While it is a bit too strong, it can help players who let their health get too low by killing low-level enemies around Eivor while they rest.
Dual Swap (Bear Tree)
Dual Swap can change anything into a dangerous weapon, even protection. This skill might look like a showy move, but it actually gives Eivor a huge range of weapon attacks, both with her main hand and her off-hand.
With Dual Swap, Eivor can use three different ways to fight with each weapon: light and heavy hits with the main hand, and special parry attacks with the other hand. In the middle of a fight, players can switch from using their right hand to their off-hand to switch between precise strikes and broad attacks.
Wolf Warrior (Wolf Tree)
The Berserker Assassin build is at its most exciting when the Wolf Warrior skill is used. When players go all-out while being circled, they become a force of nature the more hits they take. This is because Eivor’s damage goes up when health is lost with this skill.
To make sure that a lot of Eivor’s hits hit, this skill works best when combined with Grit, Cold Rage, and Intense Rage. For players who like to fight with all their might, Wolf Warrior lets Eivor’s full battle potential shine through, ending intense battles ready to fight and full of bloodlust.
Cold Rage (Bear Tree)
Cold Rage is a key skill for Berserker Assassins. Because it turns on when Eivor attacks the enemy with a lot of force. With this skill, Eivor doesn’t care about hit interruptions when making repeated regular melee attacks. This takes away the only real edge enemies would have over this build.
When Eivor has these skills and Intense Rage, she can’t be stopped on the battlefield. It does take some time to recover, but playing like a berserker is the best way to keep using it.
Intense Rage (Raven Tree)
It’s the other half of the Cold Rage skill, but for the Berserker Assassin, it might be more important. This skill lets Eivor avoid hit interruptions while using off-hand and special attacks. Which is very important if Heavy Dual-Wield is also bought.
If you don’t have this skill, you should use faster weapons for off-hand special moves. On the other hand, Eivor’s heavy off-hand hits are some of the most impressive crowd-control moves. And Intense Rage makes sure that Drive Mad players can use them. There’s nothing better than a berserker taking out a bunch of enemies at once.
Adrenaline Fiend (Bear Tree)
The Adrenaline Fiend skill boosts damage when adrenaline levels rise. Which makes it a great match for the Wolf Warrior skill. With Wolf Warrior, losing health makes damage go up. This skill, on the other hand, makes Eivor’s damage and attack speed go up for every full bar of adrenaline.
Players who use this skill in the Berserker Assassin build will have a smooth fight flow. Eivor gets extra damage at both the low points of battle and the places where it gains vitality. Adrenaline Fiend is great for getting back your strength with rage.
Unstoppable (Wolf Tree)
One of those skills that players can feel as soon as they buy it is “unstoppable.” With this skill, Eivor can run at full speed without being blocked, and she also knocks enemies back.
Eivor doesn’t have to be in battle for this skill to work. This means that Unstoppable will also quickly take players to the most intense parts of battle, pushing civilians and friends out of the way. It won’t hurt them, but getting to the fight before anyone else is crazy enough to make Eivor’s friends fall.
Terror (Bear Tree)
With the Terror skill, Eivor turns into the scariest berserker on the battlefield. For players who want some extra space, a Stun Finisher will make all the low-level enemies around Eivor run away in fear.
This skill is only there to make you feel like a Berserker Assassin. It doesn’t do much else besides making NPCs respect Eivor’s strength. Still, it’s very rewarding, and Terror can help thin the ranks. If players feel like they’re being swarmed or need a moment to heal.
Grit (Wolf Tree)
Grit is the best skill for a Berserker build. Even though there are a lot of other skills that can heal you. To get back the health she lost, Eivor has to make hits with this skill.
Going berserk means swinging weapons as hard and fast as you can. This skill will probably be enough to keep Eivor living, and she can still use the Wolf Warrior, Cold Rage, and Intense Rage skills to their full potential.
Battlefield Cremation (Bear Tree)
The Battlefield Cremation adds a nice touch to the Berserker Assassin build. There’s nothing more enjoyable than making sure that your enemies burn even after a fire attack kills them. Especially when it makes other people sick.
This skill can only be used with a tool or ability that makes fire, so you should get both. Players who like putting their enemies on fire will want to finish their berserker experience by selecting Battlefield Cremation as the best way to end any battle with fire.
